2026-27 RI Presidential Message
Our message
The annual presidential message offers us a powerful tool to share compelling Rotary stories in a consistent way. By using a message that aligns with our Action Plan, we can also inspire others to take action with us.
Our 2026-27 message, Create Lasting Impact, encourages all of us, as people of action, to work together to make a meaningful difference in our communities and around the world. It builds on the ways in which members have strengthened their connections to each other and to their communities to Unite for Good, the 2025-26 message. Now, Create Lasting Impact will harness those connections and inspire our members, participants, and the public to take collective actions that lead to a sustainable difference — globally, locally, and personally.
To show the world how members are creating lasting change through Rotary, you can collect information and share stories that demonstrate the impact your club makes through service projects and other work in the community. Another great way to do this is by sharing videos from the series “Personal Perspectives: The Value of Rotary.” These short testimonials highlight how Rotary creates positive change around the world and in the lives of our members.

Logo lockup templates
You can include the presidential message in the club or district logo lockup that you use when communicating with clubs, districts, and your community. Create your lockup and use it in:
- Club and district newsletters and presentations
- Rotary email signatures
- District conference materials (badges, invitations, logos, etc.)
- Backgrounds for online meetings
- Social media posts or blog posts
Create or update your club, district, or zone logo lockup with the presidential message by using templates in the Brand Center. You can use:
- A graphic format: Your club, district, or zone logo + the presidential message. Find the graphic in the drop-down menu in the lockup template.
- A text format: Your club, district, or zone logo + the presidential message. Type the message in the text box in the lockup template.

District and club themes or messages
Clubs and districts should use the official presidential message rather than creating their own themes so our message is consistent across Rotary and around the world. Any other themes that your club or district has developed should be retired and replaced by the annual presidential message.
Messaging on merchandise
Merchandise featuring the presidential message is available from Rotary’s approved licensed vendors. If you want to custom-order branded merchandise that isn’t readily available from licensed vendors, contact RI Licensing to request approval. The presidential message and Rotary logo are protected trademarks of Rotary International.
